Malia has her best friend come to our house every Monday and Tuesday. Her Mom works a couple of days a week and so Malia is lucky and gets to have her come over. Bailey has been doing this with her brother since she was 18 months old. This is Malia's sister. Malia really believes this and that Bailey's mom is her other mom and Bailey's grandma is her other grandma. They both have other friends but they are really great friends. We decided to do swimming lessons on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It has been really fun for the girls to go and swim and play. They love it. Baileys mom gave Malia this craft kit for Christmas. She did it just to make me crazy because it really isn't something a 5 year old can do by herself. So today I pulled it out and let the girls go crazy with it after swimming. They are cutting apart the stuff and making a fires because "we are pretend camping" they told me. Before kindergarten started, Malia was content to just have Bailey over on the days that I watched her. Now school gets out before noon and she wants to have a friend over as soon as she can or she wants to go to someones house. It is crazy. Luckily all of her friends live in the neighborhood and she can walk to their homes. So today is my day for the neighborhood girls to be at my house. They have now moved the campfire into Malia's room and are playing house around it. Malia just told them she wasn't going to be the dad. She is the DOG!! YIPEE!!
